Created June 10, 2009 when Ministry of Labour and Citizens' Services was renamed Ministry of Citizens' Services and new Ministry of Labour was created. It assumed responsibility for some components of the previous Ministry of Labour and Citizen's Services, plus several new areas of responsibility including Multiculturalism, the Public Affairs Bureau and the BC Public Service Agency. Ceased March 14, 2011 when the Ministry of Citizens' Services merged with the Ministry of Labour to create the Ministry of Labour, Citizens' Services and Open Government.
