More up-to-date data files are available in the diskette version, which includes annual and quarterly information for the entire period from 1961 to 2001. The diskette version contains all of the published tables. Individual data tables are also available for purchase. At this time, data available on diskette is based on data released by Statistics Canada in April 2002. On November 7, 2002, Statistics Canada released revised GDP estimates for the provinces and converted to a Chain Fisher method for calculating constant dollar GDP. Summary statistics from that release are available on the economic accounts section of our website, but the latest revisions to the data will not be fully incorporated into the economic accounts until the spring of 2004. Until then, the current diskette version contains the most up-to-date, consistent quarterly estimates of GDP and its components for the province. Website as viewed March 2, 2004.
