As a result of government re-organization announced on May 25, 1999, the ministry business plans included in Budget '99 have been restated to reflect the new Ministry organizations as at November 17, 1999
In December 2006 economic development programs and immigration programs became part of the Dept. of Employment, Immigration and Industry
responsibility for Alberta?s international offices and trade went to the Dept. of International, Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Relations
responsibility for tourism and film programs went to the Dept. of Tourism, Parks, Recreation and Culture
