Established Apr. 1, 1967. Replaced the British Columbia Government Travel Bureau of the Dept. of Recreation and Conservation. The travel section of the Dept. of Travel Industry amalgamated 22 Dec. 1975 with the Dept. of Recreation and Conservation to form the Dept. of Recreation and Tourism.
