"Who is the Fraser Region Interim Aboriginal Authority (FRIAA)? The FRIAA is comprised of representatives from the Metis, Urban and Land-based First Nations. The FRIAA is the Aboriginal planning committee responsible for the development of a community-based Aboriginal Authority for Children and Family Development for the Fraser Region. In order to be successful in this challenging task, the FRIAA has established a partnership with the existing Aboriginal expertise in the Fraser Region." -- Authority website as viewed Aug. 13, 2008: http://www.fraa.ca/about.html
