After the cabinet realignment on Oct. 25, 2010, the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands was continued under the name Ministry of Agriculture, absorbing integrated land management and range resource management functions from the ceased Ministry of Forests and Range and Minister Responsible for the Integrated Land Management; and marine fisheries and seafood development functions from the Ministry of Environment. Previously Ministry of Agriculture existed from October 1976 to August 1980.
